  • Select “Register Now” and fill out your information.

  • Complete registration and edit your page with your fundraising details.

SHARE & SPREAD THE WORD

  • Invite your friends, family, and colleagues to contribute.

  • Share on social media and tag @BrooklynBookBodega or #BrooklynBookBodega.

  • Use the guide (linked below) as a springboard for your personal message or this flyer.

Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is on December 1, and it is not too soon to sign up. We’re looking for peer-to-peer fundraisers to help support our cause!

As a peer-to-peer fundraiser for Brooklyn Book Bodega, all you have to do is reach out to your networks and communities, share why you love the work we do, and ask if they can support our mission to expand book access and literacy for local NYC kids.

Plus, the fundraisers with the highest dollar amount raised and the highest number of donors will each get a Brooklyn Book Bodega sweatshirt!

It’s easy to sign up—just click “fundraise” and create your account! You’ll receive a personal donation link to share with your network, and once you sign up we’ll be in touch with a toolkit that has outreach messages you can easily paste and customize.

TCS New York City Marathon

Brooklyn Book Bodega is an Official Charity Partner of the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon! Are you interested in joining our team? Learn more and add your name to our waitlist, here.

If you already have a guaranteed entry for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon, you can still run with the Brooklyn Book Bodega team as an unofficial or “own-entry” runner! Join a community of runners helping increase the number of 100+ book homes for kids 0–18 in NYC while supporting literacy initiatives across the city.

Own-entry runners receive:

  • the flexibility to set their own fundraising goal ($1,000 or higher)

  • an official Brooklyn Book Bodega runners tee

  • fundraising support and resources to help get started

  • opportunities to connect with fellow runners supporting the mission
