Book Hub Volunteering

Join us at our Book Hub to support the work that powers our programs.

Tasks may include: sorting and stamping books, moving boxes and bags, organizing inventory, and assisting with special projects.

Volunteers 18+ welcome and ages 13–17 with guardian consent. Please note that some events are restricted to volunteers 18 and older.

Complete the Book Hub Volunteer Form and select a session.

All volunteers are required to review Brooklyn Book Bodega’s Volunteer Code of Conduct.

Event Volunteering (NYC + Book Hub Events)

Join us at events across NYC or at our Book Hub to help bring books directly into the community.

Tasks may include: setting up and breaking down event spaces, distributing free books to kids and families, and sharing information.

Volunteers 18+ welcome and ages 13–17 with guardian consent. Please note that some events are restricted to volunteers 18 and older.

FAMILY VOLUNTEERING AT THE BOOK HUB

Volunteers ages 10-17 with guardian are welcome to Family Volunteer Days. Review Brooklyn Book Bodega’s Volunteer Code of Conduct.
